Who is Mac Logan?
A spiritual person who resists faith labels, I love my family.
Humans aren’t ‘things’. People are more important than profit – strong, consistent profits flow from valued people.
Humour is a great problem facer/solver. Healing is a key factor in building effectiveness. I don’t do assignments I don’t believe in.
There is magic in the development of people, teams and organisations. The modern HR profession tends towards being over-systematised and mechanistic.
I volunteer and get involved. On assignment, I don’t come cheap.
Politics and government are generally incompetent …and need to clean up their act.
So, what about Mac
When the request is to write an “about” the temptation is to write yet another short biography. Instead, I decided to ask a few writers and people I know to answer the question in around 50 words …

Scottish author, Mac Logan, is a superlative crime thriller writer of the old school. An adept wordsmith, his gritty fiction is at once riveting and credible, leaving his readers wondering how much of his stories are from real life experience and how much from his own imagination.

Mac Logan is a charismatic Scotsman, a wordsmith, a family man and a lover of whiskey, life and beer. Poet, gifted author, family man. His is a friend who I met on twitter, and a gentleman generous enough to find time in his busy life to offer encouragement to others. Thanks Mac.

Writer, blogger, consultant and bon viveur, Mac is a friend who is as dependable as he is loyal. He is the person you can call on at any time of the day or night and he will always be there for you – ready to listen and offer sound advice. He earns trust and respect from all who truly know him. He also has a strong sense of humour, a love of cake and a penchant for a hint of mischief!
Mark Leggatt
Mac Logan is a Scottish crime writer, and the author of two books in the ‘Angel’s Share’ series. Mac’s central character, Sam Duncan, a man of the cloth with a mysterious special forces background, combats entrenched corruption at all levels of government. The establishment will use any means necessary to stop him.
Martijn van Waveren
Mac Logan is that rarest of writers whose storytelling can entertain and scare you witless at the same time. I believe his main character is often a reflection of Mac himself; a man of principle, who believes in and fights for a better world, and a man who loves his family and will stop at nothing to protect them. The world could use more people like him.
Regina Puckett
Mac Logan is a master writer of suspense and conspiracy. His plots grab you on the first page and lead you through each page and chapter on a merry journey with imaginative characters and landscapes.
